What does rustic mean?

We are a rustic venue meaning our barns do not have plumbing, heat or air conditioning.

We have an ADA portable potty on site.

Bar area includes a mini freezer/fridge combo, a 5 cubic ft freezer with 2 large bags of ice, and a stand alone cooler.

We have a standard size refrigerator in the buffet area of the bar barn for cold storage. You will be able to get water from our well if you need to.

Additionally, we offer a novelty popcorn maker with supplies (popcorn, oil, bags),

Bluetooth speakers that you can connect to.

Two sets of cornhole and yard Jenga are available for your use.

What do I need to know about parking?

We have onsite parking  for all your guests. We have 2 concrete poured handicap parking spaces adjoined to the sidewalk for easy wheelchair or walker accessibility. Just give us a heads up and we will mark those off for your guest.​

Are pets allowed at the venue?

We welcome all service dogs and ask you to keep the dogs leashed at all times. We ask you to designate someone to clean up any accidents that may occur. All other pet requests must be approved by the Venue owner. 

​Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes, we have two concrete parking spaces, flat outdoor grounds and the back entrance of the barn is handicap accessible. We also have one ADA portable potty on site. You are welcome to rent a full hook up toilet if need be.

Do we have to choose from the venue's preferred vendor list?

No, we have suggested vendors on our website that we work with and know are amazing if you need recommendations, but these are not required. 

Note: Special Event Insurance

We do require you to purchase Special Event Insurance policy that will cover you as the host for your event.  We will set you up with this insurance before your event using our partner page. Click HERE for a quote.

NOTE Wedding receptions will need a TIPS certified bartender (see vendor list for our house bartender).

What type of equipment is supplied in the bar area?

The inside bar area has a mini fridge/freezer combo, 5 cubic ft freezer with 2 large bags of ice, one stand alone ice cooler, storage shelves, hand towels, a high top table with three bar stools, and a garbage can.

What do we do with our trash?

We supply a garbage container along with garbage bags. We do not have a dumpster on site so please limit your trash. 

NOTE: Take your cardboard with you. Take all cans and bottles with you.

Do you allow fireworks or fires?

No, we do not. ​No fire, explosives and anything with an ignitor. 

Is there A/C and Heat?

There is no a/c or heat in the barn.  The barn has large doors that can be left open as well as a ceiling fan which makes for good air flow. ​

Is the barn decorated?

The barn is neutral (see pictures). You can decorate as you please, with the exception of open flamed candles and nails/screws/staples in the wood. Please use tape. The wood in the barn is a century old and cannot be replaced.

What is the payment schedule?

$250 cash to hold wedding dates

All events must be paid in full two weeks before date and contract signed.

Are we allowed to bring in our own food and beverages?

Yes, you can bring in your own food

Is the Venue open year round?

We are seasonal, mid May to early October. Check our calendar for actual start and end dates.

What is not allowed?

Please keep the music to an appropriate level.  No cooking or open flame in the barn. Gel fuel cans for warmers are ok. Ready made food only. No firearms, weapons of any type, glitter, glue, hay/straw bales, paper petals, birdseed, rice or confetti, paint, or anything that will leave a permanent mark on the property.

No tents, camping, overnight parking, or adding additional items to the property like bounce houses, igloos etc. You are renting the property in it’s current state.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel with in 48hrs of your date for regular rentals, you do not get refunded any of the deposit that have been paid to date. Wedding receptions need to inquire.

What is your smoking/vaping policy?

No Smoking or vaping inside any of the buildings. Smoke in designated area only.

Severe Weather Policy In the event of severe weather-ALL persons must evacuate. Our barns are not shelters from severe weather
